To date, my new single "Pray for a Better Day" has been the most successful song I've released. That's definitely nice to see, but I want more. I always find myself wanting more. 1, 010 views on youtube in a month is a record for me, but I feel like so many more views are just around the corner, the right person is just WAITING to stumble upon this piece of art I've worked so hard on. Whether it's tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, or after I've passed on, I KNOW that this song will resonate with the World, and will help a lot of individuals. Maybe I'm just ahead of the times with the message in this song; I don't really think that's the issue, but I can't help feeling that way.  In the end, if I even just touch ONE person with this song, I will be happy. My Dad brought up a good point tonight; back-in-the-day individuals in wheelchairs were never taken out in the community, they were either left at the home, or left at the institution. Wow. Freedom. Every day I have something to be positive about; I’m free. I guess that’s why I am interested and inspired by Angels like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., individuals who fight for their kind, fought for those who were left behind. You could also parallel our history to that of the Women’s rights movement; we have all had to fight for our freedom. Where would I be if people like Terry Fox and Rick Hansen didn’t give up their lives’ for others suffering like themselves? Frankly, I don’t think I would even be writing this right now. Thank you. Success is masked by expectations. Each and every breath is success. Every sunrise and sunset is success; you’ve made it to a new day. It’s not about how many people read this, it’s about how many people feel this way and don’t release the emotions....

Next week at this time my single will be released. Wow...It doesn't seem that close! I'm incredibly excited to be able to share this song with the World, I'm just really hoping that everything comes together without a hitch. On August 17th, I will be celebrating my nineteenth birthday. To mark the occasion, I will be releasing the first single off of my upcoming album. I wrote this song with my dear friend Rob Lamothe, and the final mix was done by Jhevon Paris. The song will be available for purchase on iTunes, but I won't be releasing its title until the week of the release.
